The less-prominent Clintonista candidates include: Bill Curry, briefly a Clinton adviser, who hopes to unseat Connecticut's Republican incumbent governor; former FCC Commissioner Gloria Tristani, challenging Republican incumbent Sen. Pete Domenici of New Mexico; Ira Shapiro, a Clinton trade negotiator, who's in a crowded House race in Maryland; Clinton Department of Transportation official Peter Dagher, a long shot in the same House race as Rahm Emanuel; and Andrei Cherny, a Gore speechwriter bidding for California state Assembly.
