11. KENNETH W. MONFORT FAMILY$10.5 million to the UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO from the family's foundation to expand business programs at the school. The family founded Monfort of Colorado, a cattle-feeding and beef-processing company that was purchased by ConAgra Red Meat Cos. in the 1980s.

12. PETER and MARY TOBIN$10.25 million to ST. JOHN'S UNIVERSITY (N.Y.) for the business school. Peter Tobin is dean of the school's college of business.
