65. DESMOND LEE JR.--$2 million to establish a remainder trust for the ST. LOUIS ART MUSEUM's exhibition program. The museum will be able to borrow from the trust, paying interest, to help present special large-scale exhibitions. In accordance with Lee's wishes, the museum will provide 10,000 free tickets to disadvantaged children and half-price tickets to students for each show mounted with money from the trust. After Lee's death, and once the principal has grown to $3 million, the museum will be free to use the trust to purchase works of art.
