More Flattery

Just got back from Hardball, where I neglected to flatter anyone, so who knows if I’ll ever be invited back on the show. I hope the flattery you bring to the West Wing party is better than what you wrote to me. Don’t worry about not having seen many West Wing episodes. People in TV just assume you have seen their shows. (Movie people tend to assume you have not seen their movies.) But I don’t have to tell you how to handle the Hollywood crowd. Your book is more insightful about them than I am. There, at least, I’ve flattered someone today. See you on the set.
