Speaking of foreign policy, the continued Republican assault on Clinton has had one measurable effect: not one Dem has the temerity to stand up and say that, while Newt turns Jerusalem into the Meddle East, President Clinton actually helped make peace, for the moment at least, between the two Irelands. What the Irish should do, if they want back on America's front pages, is get into the satellite-launching business.
