What you clearly don't understand is that Newton is, as he so often points out, an historical figure cut from the Churchillian, if not the Napoleonic, cloth. What the Irish should do, if they want back on America's front pages, is get into the satellite-launching business.
Regarding residuals, as a toiler in the Murdoch vineyards, I've been encouraged to see such payments as unfair siphoning off of funds that could better be applied to the purchase of ever more pro sports teams.
