Gee, and I thought the last time Philadelphia was on the front pages was during the Colin Powell "Let's All Volunteer-a-thon" about a year ago.

As for the China deal, I stopped buying silk shirts made in China two years ago, so don't blame me. I do think it's one of the few rewards of longevity to remember a time when the Democrats stood for a foreign policy based on human rights and the Republicans smiled tolerantly and tried to explain realpolitik to the rest of us.

I hear Dan Burton is thinking seriously of impeaching a cantaloupe, just to see if it proves his point.
