Once again, I'll respond in full tomorrow. By Ealing Road, I meant the Ealing Studios, which may have in fact also been located on Ealing Road, but which were in any case responsible for the fabulous Alec Guinness and Peter Sellars comedies (and from which Quentin Tarantino certainly copped a lot of his moves). You quote Gunter Grass; I quote The Ladykillers. This may say more about me than I'd like.
