Compassionate Conservatism, Defined

But now, thanks to Linda Chavez, we've witnessed the first real-life test of what compassionate conservatism means to the president-elect.
Compassionate conservatism: It's compassionate to take in illegal immigrants. It's conservative not to pay them.
