FY2009 is the last Bush budget. The FY09 deficit was $1.2tn-$1.4tn BEFORE the stimulus. It closed at ~$1.75tn. As MaryAnne correctly pointed out, this did not include any war spending for Iraq or Afghanistan. If it did, Bush era deficits collectively would have been ~$910bn redder.

Fact is, dumb fuck Placebo, the CBO computed that the 2009 deficit was going to be $1.2T no matter who won the POTUS. It was baked in by Bush. Another fact, dim bulb, is that 4 months of the 2009 fiscal year were run under Bush, from Oct 1 2008 to Jan 20 2009.
