Republican values
by CMD
+3 Reply
They trashed all election laws in 2000 so desperate for a win at any cost they sold their republican souls (sic).
They ignored all warnings of OBL determined to fly airplanes into buildings, this after saying they wanted a 9-11 to happen so as to push their agenda through. They put it in writing folks.
They had no problem with manufacturing lies to push this agenda, and con us all into an illegal war in Iraq because they were still pissed Bush sr didn’t go into Baghdad in 91. Neither did they have a problem with outing a covert CIA agent in time of war purely for political payback at the expense of our nation. Nor did they have a problem when Bush surrendered to OBL and pulled the special forces unit hunting him to make sure OBL was never brought to justice, any more then they had a problem Bush jr allowed the Bin Laden’s to flee America without so much as being questioned by the FBI.
This just a tiny fraction of all the vile hypocritical bullshit they inflicted on this nation. Which brings me to my question.
Did any of you honestly think these anti American scum amongst us would wake up after the 08 election, and find a conscience? Did any of you honestly think these profound idiots would behave any differently then the delusional morons we find protesting at tea parties?

Well, now that you mention it.......

no.

While I disagree on some of your points, on the whole I would have to say that the election of 2000, the way they ran the SEC, FEMA, the war in Iraq, the war in Afghanistan....the deficit spending of the last three republican administrations, the tendency that Bush had of putting signing statements into legislation which excluded his administration from the law....all tend to make the complaints of the tea partiers pretty easy to dismiss.

All true. To answer one question, No. They've pretty much demonstrated with business as usual ratcheted up several notches to push the envelope close to sedition, in my opinion. And the tea partiers/baggers are just another lynch mob.
And One More Thing....

The poster Vladius said it well yesterday regarding the tea baggers:

From the responses here I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

For all you teabaggers out there I have some bad news for you. First of all, you are a minority, not some mass movement with broad appeal. The last election proved it and the results from New York reinforced it as well. You can all rally at The Capital and teabag each other all you want. The fact is that your movement will never see any results at the ballot box, which if you're not paying attention is where it really counts. But please, don't let that stop you. Go ahead and run your nutball heros like Sarah Palin. Waste your time and money. At the voting booth the average American will vote based on common sense and reject your whole ideology.

You people are not a political movement. You more resemble a bowel movement. All you are are angry little monkeys flinging shit about spouting gibberish to anyone who will listen.

I thought that this pretty much defined their place and the limit of their strength.

I started laughing after the word "they". Your objective analysis and fair observations quickly declined into an us-vs-them wank....and therefore continued to contribute to the polarity that exists, offered not a single solution, and directly reflects your ability as a fellow American to keep this nation indivisible. If that's not anti-American....scum and/or profoundly idiotic, you seem to be having trouble finding the truth within yourself.

Have a fucking fantastic day!....until the dem party taxes us into prosperity.

Re: Republican rhetoric

So it is the people on the left who are being divisive? You have never written an us vs them wank? Your posts always contain solutions....with the exception of this one. Calling him anti-American is somehow helping unite the nation?

Have you looked up the meaning of the word "Irony" lately?

Awwww....and you still haven't learned that ad hominem attacks still fail to counter my point. I never claimed to be perfect....and CMD and the rest of your crowd have gathered in strength to pull of a circle jerk to make sure you all agree with eachother that it's the other guy with all the faults.....not you all. Thats some fucking Irony!

Am I angry....no, just bored enough to post.

Re: Republican rhetoric

what part of my post was an ad hominem attack. I was just observing that your criticism is interesting in that you engage in that exact same style of post.
Re: Republican values

Use "threaded view" at the top of the page. It makes it much clearer as to who you are actually responding to.
Re: Republican rhetoric
by Rubma

Come on MV....really? I didn't need to do anything other than respond in kind....if you find it ironic or even wrong, that only validates my point even more. You know, the wank of CMD that you jumped on the bandwagon with? If I'm wrong....and you feel obliged to point that out, join the crowd. I'm fine with being in the wrong if it makes my point...and, I feel the point has been made....you just don't have the balls to tell your ilk they are just as fucked up. Way to be in the "middle", MiddleView. You are showing your true colors MV....

Re: Republican values

Thanks for the help MV....I'm new around here. If you want to see whom I responded too....use threaded view, it won't be so confusing to you.
