Pretending that Bill Clinton can put himself into the fray by attacking Obama outright and end up hearing nothing is a bit disingenuous. Michelle Obama hasn't attacked McCain. If she did, she would be open to having him attack her. Cindy McCain hasn't put herself in line for attack, either. Both wives have been attacked by people OTHER THAN the candidates in ways that were inappropriate and had no place in the race for office.
