Why is it that there are a number of liberal posters who can make statements and back them up rationally, but not a single "conservative" here that's capable of the same?

There was one guy who had a long post about Al Franken being a liar and, after citing numerous Franken quotes (some hacked with ellipses) could produce a single lie.

Then there's this guy who claims tax revenues are high because of tax increases without citing anything to back that up (and demonstrating an amazing ignorance when it comes to basic economics).

And don't get me started on their interpretation of Obama's speech.
