American Taliban

Consider this scenario. After months of debate, the national legislature is set to cast a historic vote. But, before legislators can vote yea or nay, the bill must first be sent to the country’s Supreme Religious Council for its approval. Only after unelected clerics give their blessing are elected politicians permitted to vote.

Did that happen in Iran? No, it happened right here, in the House of Representatives, during last week’s vote on health care reform.

I pledge allegiance to the Catholic Flag and to the Holy Roman Catholic Chruch.

To the religious monarchy for which it stands one nation under the Pope, infalliable with supression of women and forced confession for all.

Bummer.

But guess what, eusux? As is all too often pointed out to cons on here, if you do not like the way politics in America is working, change it with your votes. If the House is doing things you think are wrong, get together and vote them out. Like libs tell cons all the time, if this is how the majority of our represenatives feel is acceptable, it must be, otherwise they would do as the majority of people want so they can be elected again, correct?

is quite similar to our (two as one) selective tenured dedicated exempt power-brokered alliance.

Ahhhh, there I beg to differ VOL.

The Holy Roman Catholic Faith is a pure monarchy. In direct opposition to the Democratic Republic values of the United States of America.

In fact the founding fathers disliked the monarchies in general, but loathed the theological monarchy of the Catholic Church and the Angelican Church of England. They feared that Rome would usurp our young country, and SOB looks they were right.

There is no vote of the people in Catholic church doctrine, there is no discussion of Vatican policy or dissent to papl edicts. No impeachment nor questioning of the infallibilty of the pope.

How else would a faith with one bilion worshippers install an ex Nazi Party member whom was also a Nazi Youth in to the papcy and get away with it?
