This is a wonderful book. It should be purchased and read ESPECIALLY by godless liberals, who will spin, distort, or lie about every point made by the author.

P 4-5: … the contemporary Left constitute a very small portion of society. While self-hating Americans make up but a fraction of the total population (certainly no more than 10%), their influence is great. They are the museum curators, journalists, college professors, librarians, and movie stars.
Nowhere is the impact of anti-Americanism as great as it is on the campuses. I know this from experience. For the better part of the past decade, working as a program officer for Young America’s Foundation and currently as executive director of Accuracy in Academia, I have sought with some success to gain a hearing for views that challenge the intellectual orthodoxy that exists on campus.
In the fall of 2000, I was invited by students at UC-Berkeley to speak on the guilt of convicted murderer and anti-American propagandist Mumia Abu-Jamal. Prior to the utterance of my first word, an angry mob began…shouting… “White motherf---er!” and “You’re a f---ing murderer!”
Zewdalem Kebede of San Diego State University was arrested and threatened with expulsion for disagreeing with Arab students who cheered 9/11 terrorists.
The Boulder Public Library refused to hang a 10-foot-long American flag in its lobby, claiming that some of its patrons might be offended. … the library had no problem with an exhibit of ceramic penises, which it prominently displayed.
America finds itself almost alone in the history of nations in its cultivation of an elite that hopes for its country’s demise. Museums, libraries, art galleries, schools, colleges and universities, and other institutions charged with passing on our culture seek instead to destroy it.
The Soviet Union’s eight-figure body count was kept hidden from its citizens. In America, it is our sins that are exaggerated and our virtues are suppressed.
Americans, more so than any other people, have strong reason to love their country.
America is the oldest republic in existence, shining as a beacon of freedom in a dark world for more than two centuries. Free elections have been held here for hundreds of years.
So appealing is the idea of America that people continue to risk their lives on makeshift rafts co come across dangerous seas just to live here. They don’t go to Saudi Arabia, or Madagascar, or Denmark, or Brazil. They come here. This is significant.
To the self-hating American, all this is irrelevant. What matters is the promulgation of the idea that America is a racist, sexist, and oppressive society.
For many leftists, it became easier to defer to a preordained anti-American dogma handed down by the Marxists than to think for themselves. To this day, this is a mental straitjacket that many find difficult to divest. - Page 52

Conclusion
Cultural Marxism, Communism, relativism, and multiculturalism are the religions for the people who mock religion. While these sects differ in their finer points, they are denominationally within the same overriding faith. At their core exists a hatred of America and the West.

Compare the United States to its ideals, and it will always come up short. Compare America to places that actually exist in the world and the United States looks rather exemplary. Page 181

The Left condemns Christianity as intolerant….
When we contrast the United States to its surroundings, it is America that begins to resemble an idealized paradise.
The only stage large enough to hold America’s great men is the world. Alexander Graham Bell put a telephone in every home, Henry Ford put a car in every driveway, and Bill Gates put a computer in every office. Ronald Reagan exhorted the Soviets to tear down the Berlin Wall.
Our country is loved because she is lovely.
