This is an old war horse of a tune, played in every coffee -house between New York and Sydney, back in the day. This version by, June Tabor, manages to honor the original without being a cliche. This is standard folk song stuff, with a very regular AB rhyme scheme, but note how Tabor puts a heavy emphasis midline, to balance out the heavy line ends.

Some may argue that this doesn't honor the meaning of the Day, but I would argue that you can honor and question at the same time:
