When the faculty emailed us to tell us that Gray Davis (or Recall Gray Davis, as we have named him) would be the speaker at our graduation, they started: "At some point in life everyone fails..." and then proceeded to explain why we needed to hear about failure as we ventured out into the world. I appreciate the sentiment, but I think it will make for a bit of a depressing day (tomorrow).
