Kerry: Osama Photos Exist, and They're "Graphic"

After leaving the Senate Democrats' weekly lunch, John Kerry took questions from reporters about the aftermath of the OBL operation. One reporter asked whether or not he favored the release of a photo of the terrorist leader after he was killed, to clear up doubts.

"I don't think we have to make that judgment yet, frankly," said Kerry. "I think there's a lot evidence and a pretty broad acceptance that he's dead."

Follow-up: Had he seen the photos?

"I haven't seen the photos," said Kerry. "I've seen them described -- I've had very good descriptions of them." Asked again what was in the photos, Kerry would only say that they're "graphic."

That seems to be the consensus as people with knowledge of this situation gingerly answer repeated questions about it. To release the photos, Harry Reid said shortly after this exchange, would be "morbid."
