I've been reading Newt Gingrich's collected nonfiction in preparation for his 2012 run, but twice I've grabbed the wrong book as I've headed out the door. What's wrong with me? Nothing. Please note this side-by-side-by-side photo of his three major tomes from 2004, 2008, and 2010.

He's wearing the same shirt and tie in every photo. He won the future, and it stayed won. (Note: The hardcover designs had different photos of newt. It's just these paperback versions that trap us in some Stephen Hawking time vortex.)
