National liberal groups intervening in Wisconsin claim to be raising close to $2 million for ads that would bolster Democratic efforts to recall as few as three or as many as eight Republican senators. As of this morning , according to Ben Smith, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America had raised $750,000 . As of this afternoon, MoveOn's ActBlue page for the recall reports around $860,000 of donations from around 27,000 people; the Daily Kos page reports around $340,000 from around 12,500.

Earlier today, Greg Sargent reported on a SurveyUSA poll , commissioned by MoveOn, to gauge how just vulnerable two of the Republicans are in districts that went for Barack Obama. Both are underwater; only 41 percent support Dan Kapanke, who fell short in a challenge against Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wis., last year.
