Last night a MoveOn.org activist, Lauren Valle, was grabbed and pushed to the ground outside of the final Kentucky U.S. Senate debate. Here's the video, which shows Rand Paul supporters grabbing her as she walked toward Paul.

I'm fascinated by how Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft, reports this :

Another day… Another unhinged leftist stalks and tries to harass a Republican leader.  MoveOn.org activist Lauren Valle wasn’t counting on this reaction by Rand Paul supporters... Look for the state-run media to make her into some kind of saint by the end of the day.

It's fascinating because Hoft was one of the bloggers who hammered the media for not doing more coverage of an incident outside one of Rep. Russ Carnahan's (D-Mo.) town halls, where a man named Kenneth Gladney claimed to have been beaten by members of the SEIU. Without delving back into it -- the video that liberals were unimpressed with is here -- I see the stirrings of another tiresome partisan feud. Conservatives, angry that the media didn't cover Gladney's situation, will be angry that it's covering Valle's. The only thing I'd add is that lefty protesters often try to get into shots with Republicans, and Lexington, where this debate was held, is one of Kentucky's liberal enclaves, so it's hard to see how Republicans didn't overreact.
