Former First Daughter Barbara Bush Supports Same Sex Marriage (VIDEO)

Former President George W. Bush’s daughter, Barbara Bush, is trending after announcing her support for same-sex marriage in New York. In a message for the Human Rights Campaign, the 29-year-old former first daughter invites New Yorkers to join her in the fight for equality in marriage. Bush’s advocacy puts her at odds with her father, who in 2004 endorsed a constitutional amendment outlawing same-sex marriage. But Barbara Bush joins ranks with her mother, Laura Bush, and a very short list of prominent Republicans who support gay marriage, including Dick Cheney and Cindy McCain.
