If you’d recently been the subject of hacking and harassment, like comedian and Ghost Busters reboot star Leslie Jones has, maybe you’d shy away from the spotlight. But that’s precisely why you, and all of us peons, are not Leslie Jones and never will be. A cadre of hacker enemies and online trolls were no match for the comedian’s adventuresome spirit. Her perseverance was on full display at the 2016 Emmys, where she cast shade upon the abusers from the stage and from which she tweeted with the enthusiasm and ruthless pursuit of selfies of a social media-obsessed teen. Oh, and she’s also missing the filters many stars usually hide behind, meaning she will say whatever she wants, including joking about having sex with John Mayer. Hey, it’s charming when she does it!

Read on for the highlights of Leslie’s Night Out, which, if there’s any justice in the world, will soon be adapted into a surprisingly raunchy but ultimately heartwarming animated children’s movie.

She started off the night by calling her Saturday Night Live and Ghostbusters co-star Kate McKinnon her bitch, and got really excited when she won. Cute!

She selfie’d with Liev Schreiber, calling him “my new crush.” It would be hilarious if she didn’t know he was an actor and just grabbed him ‘cause he looked hot, but that’s unlikely, as Jones has previously established what a TV fan she is.

She correctly referred to Angela Bassett as the queen.

She paused as she searched for a charger. Phone batteries, get it together! She also appears to have done an outfit switch at this point.

She met soooo many people from Game of Thrones. She tweeted these as a group, and then tweeted some of them separately later. She was really excited, guys!

She even met Dany …

… and Varys!

She met Charo and captioned it “CHARO!!” Which is probably all there really is to say when you meet Charo, you know?

She proved herself to be a comedy nerd through and through, grabbing pictures with host Jimmy Kimmel (“Billy Cosby joke EPIC!”), Ray Romano, and Chris Rock. (“Yep!!”)

The aforementioned John Mayer sex joke. LOL, Leslie, but seriously, stay away …

She hung with Rami Malek and joked about his hacker connects.

Note the huge smile in all of the pictures, too. So then it is resolved: Leslie Jones is our modern Virgil, guiding us through the inferno of red carpet culture with a song. …as long as her phone battery doesn’t get in the way.
