About two years ago I began working out consistently. I was never overweight and have always been told that I was handsome. Yet when I really began to make significant changes in my appearance, such as a much slimmer/trimmer waist, wider chest & back, and toned legs, the looks I began to get from women changed immensely. I also changed my wardrobe to more modern and slim cut shirts, slacks, and jeans. Yep, I bought my first pair of skinny jeans. I stopped one day to check under the hood of my car in a parking lot and, unknown to me, two women in a nearby car really took notice. When I got back in the car, my 18-year-old daughter said, “Dad, you should have seen those two women in that car looking at you. They were really checking you out!”
I’m not a muscular guy, just clearly fit and cut better than before. But what I consider to be moderate changes in my appearance have resulted in a two-fold increase in the positive, approving, and even lustful looks I receive from women. Certainly women are visual, I just believe both sexes have been trained to behave in particular ways, to the detriment of both. I just wonder if and when women will begin to act on their physical urges and approach men to the same degree men traditionally do women.
