I can understand why banks hate Massachusets senate candidate Elizabeth Warren—because she’s for regulating them much more closely. But the vitriol spewed by an out-of-work audience member at a campaign stop Wednesday night in Brockton, Mass., doesn’t make any sense at all.
First, he says that he’s been unemployed since February, 2010. Then, he accuses Warren of taking credit for the Occupy Wall Street movement. Warren apologizes to the man for the fact that he’s had so much trouble finding work. She keeps her cool, and says that she’s been protesting what’s been going on on Wall Street for a very long time, but that the Occupy Wall Streeters have their own agenda. He then tells her she’s the “intellectual creator” of OWS, that she’s a “socialist whore,” before muttering something about how her boss (President Obama) is “foreign born.”
I know, I know. It’s pointless to try to follow the logic of a sad and irate person ranting at a VFW, but how is occupy wall street responsible for his continued unemployment? With the New England accent and the nonsensical politcal views, he’s reminding me of this guy.
