What Women Really Think

Boys and Dolls

Today on Zulily there is an amazing offer on the Emerson dollhouse , plus all the furniture.

I think my boys might love it (for their birthday), but if I’m being totally honest, I am hung up on the fact that it’s a "dollhouse." (Also, I can’t help but wonder if it’s really me who wants it.) The twins, who will be 3 in June, do have a little firehouse that they love and often fight over because it’s not big enough. They like to drive their trucks up to the door and put little Toy Story figures or green Army men in the beds in the loft.

I’m asking because even though the bargain price today is a steal, it’s still expensive. Would a boy play with a dollhouse? What do you think? I’d love to read your ideas in the comments section.
