Farewell to Broadsheet

Oh dear. We’ve just learned that our beloved sister site Broadsheet at Salon has been shuttered. Broadsheet was the original rabble rousing lady site, founded in 2005 when such a thing was unheard of by Salon editors Lori Leibovich and Rebecca Traister. Over the years it became an awesome collection of some of our favorite writers on all of our favorite topics: Tracy Clark-Flory on sex and Kate Harding on body issues and Rebecca Traister on politics and culture and just about everything else. Salon promises that the voices and topics will live on in other parts of the site and we cross our fingers that’s true.
