Soon Al Gore’s Approval Rating Will Be Worse Than Dick Cheney’s

The National Enquirer is now reporting that Al Gore allegedly sexually assaulted two more massage therapists , one in Los Angeles and one in Japan. Rachael , you and Ann Althouse were correct in predicting that after the first masseuse came forward, more women would come out of the woodwork. Gore’s alleged moves on Portland masseuse, original accuser Molly Hagerty were so brazen, you both reasoned, he had probably done similar things before and gotten away with it. Gore has not been charged with any crime yet, so it’s not a lock that these allegations are true, but it’s not looking good. According to the Enquirer ‘s source:

“The therapist claimed that when they were alone, Gore shrugged off a towel and stood naked in front of her. … He pointed at his erect penis and ordered her, ‘Take care of THIS.’ ”

The Enquirer ‘s latest revelations are out just a few days after Gallup commissioned a poll about vice presidents -past and present-and their approval ratings. Even with the initial allegation of sexual assault, only 49 percent of respondents view Al Gore unfavorably, compared with 52 percent of respondents who view Dick Cheney unfavorably. I imagine these latest allegations might make Gore even more unpopular than ol’ Cheney.
