Microsoft’s Pulled “Sexting” Ad

Microsoft made an ad aimed at teens for its Kin cell phone-and then pulled it, after Consumer Reports said the company was promoting sexting, because the ad has a quick shot of a guy taking a photo of his chest and then sending it to a girl. Is this silly, as Gawker says ? Or is it a bad idea to sell a phone by showing a guy sending a shot of his nipples? Clearly this would be out of bounds if the guy were a girl. But I can’t decide how much that matters. Because obviously he’s not. Ah, the blurry line between playful and offensive in the sexting era. Thoughts?
