ENDA Prevails in the Senate, 61–30

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act broke a filibuster tonight with ease, earning the vote of all present Democrats along with Sens. Kelly Ayotte, Susan Collins, Orrin Hatch, Dean Heller, Mark Kirk, Rob Portman, and Pat Toomey. Only Hatch is from a "red state"—and speaking of red states, not one of the 30 Republicans who voted no used floor time to speak against the bill.
