The ABC News/Washington Post poll runs through a number of possible gun control/school defense measures. All of them are popular. The possible restriction on high-capacity magazines, used in Tucscon and in Aurora, boasts support across party lines.

I've yet to see any articles about reform bills that quote House Republicans about what they might support. But closing the "gun show loophole" and restricting -- somehow -- the larger magazines have supermajority support.
