Missouri Rep. Jo Ann Emerson will take an early leave of Congress and become "President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association." She describes it as a life change that "offers to find ways to promote strong rural policy." Another way of describing it: She's going to work for the organization that gave her re-election campaign $79,803, more than any other group. I love it when a plan comes together.
