Opening Act: You Can't Help Yourself

No one could have predicted that Ed Rollins would spend more time trashing Michele Bachmann personally than he would spend working for her campaign.

The downside of pointless initiatives like a "jobs council" is that people notice if you stop meeting with them. (It gets no credit for holding some public events without the president.)

Rep. Connie Mack IV carries out a feud with a reporter as compelling/stupid as any since the glory days of San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom. Actually, I should illustrate that.
