I think this is the reductio ad absurdium of angry "build it" reactions. My general rule for any gaffe is -- does it make any sense the way that it's being weaponized against the gaffe-maker? Or does it make more sense in a larger context? Without more context, Sutton's point here is totally insane. Obviously he helped his kids. Similarly, you have to be convinced that Barack Obama is a collectivist who wants to nationalize all industry to think he literally does not believe that any business founder ever created anything.
