Morning Round-up: Pride

NEW YORK - JUNE 24: A large rainbow flag makes it’s way down Christopher Street during the New York City Gay Pride March on June 24, 2012 in New York City. The annual civil rights demonstration commemorates the Stonewall riots of 1969, which erupted after a police raid on a gay bar, the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street.

Egypt’s military certified the Islamic Brotherhood’s Mohammed Morsi as the winner of its first presidential election over the weekend, though how much power he will be granted is very much an open question.

Mitt Romney is providing awful few specifics on how he’ll govern the United States if elected president.

Elizabeth Warren, the Massachusetts Senate candidate dogged for months by charges she took advantage of her Native American roots, may finally have moved past them in her marquee matchup with Republican Senator Scott Brown. She’ll introduce Barack Obama at his appearance in Boston today.

The Supreme Court will issue key rulings this week – beginning as early as today – on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act and Arizona’s signature illegal immigration law.

And Obama’s re-election army mined phone numbers and other critical data from supporters at gay pride parades across the country yesterday, another benefit of his coming out for gay marriage last month after years of waffling.

What else is happening?
