Rep. Bobby Rush Reprimanded for Wearing a Hoodie on the Floor of the House

We should start setting a timer. A racial issue appears in the news cycle; how long will Rep. Bobby Rush take to trivialize it? In 2008 it took mere hours for Rush (who has never pretended to get along with Barack Obama) to say that refusing to seat the embarrassing Roland Burris in the U.S. Senate was tantamount to a lynching. It took Rush more time to do this.
At its typical Kaczynski-speed, Buzzfeed has clipped the video of Rush putting the hoodie on, contravening the House's rule against hat-wearing, and quoting from the Bible until his mic is cut. Congratulations: We're talking about a congressman's stunt instead of the facts of the Martin case.
