There's plenty of deja vu in the Obamacare protests outside the Supreme Court and the Capitol. I've seen more than one anti-Obamacare sign with the word "bill" crossed out and the word "law" scrawled in. The two new messages are demands that Elena Kagan recuse herself and harum scarem about the contraception mandate. That was expressed best here:
This was a theme, too, at a pretty well attended rally on upper Senate Park on Saturday. Radio host Gina Lowden asked protesters to imagine a world where the mandate was in place but conservatives got to pick the care.
"What about Sandra Fluke, who wants to spend $3000 a year on birth control?" she said. "How about we mandate a little abstinence education!"
