My latest piece wraps up the controversy over HBO and Politico stories that dared to point out that voters believe lots of stupid things. On Fox News, at least, this has been a source of great controversy. But it's controversy of the point-and-sputter variety. Why, how dare these snobs judge real Americans! How dare Politico demand that all voters get as deep into policy as, you know, Politico reporters!
It's a silly argument. Lots of voters are igorant. Reporters shouldn't edit that out when they're trying to build an HD display of the electorate.
