Santorum Pitches to Social Conservatives; Dog Bites Man

NOVI, Mich. -- I've written before about Rick Santorum's culture war talk, which he's talked about when he's needed to, but avoided making the focal point of the campaign. Thing is, he hasn't needed to. Social conservatives know he's one of them. Groups like the Faith & Freedom Coalition, locally, back him; the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List backs him and has been part of a bus tour hitting up under-campaigned-in towns.

But Santorum isn't ignoring social conservatism. I grabbed this flier from Santorum's campaign office; it goes into great detail about his work for the Federal Marriage Amendment, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, so on and so on.

Note the family photo, with Santorum's disabled daughter Bella joining the happy portrait.
