PHOENIX -- This question should be crowdsourced: Why do people feel compelled to take low-quality video of events? At this ABC meeting, I sit behind two builders who are propping up tablets to take videos in which Mitt Romney is barely visible. It's as mystifying to me as the act of holding up a smart phone vertically, not horizontally, to take video.
I'm serious. You, reader, have probably been to a conference or two. Have you idly propped up some video device to take bad photos of the speaker? Why?
