Happy Hanukkah from Rick Santorum

This Hannukah card from an offshoot of Rick Santorum’s South Carolina team – captured first by Hunter Walker – is worth a giggle or three. Screen shot 2012-02-08 at 3.42.47 PM But was it a huge mistake? Santorum’s state staff says it was produced by a local offshoot, which explains it; as you look at this the less sense it makes. There’s a whole (frankly, more fun) testament to draw on if you’re forging some temporarily solidarity with Jews. They are, after all, adherents of one of the great Abrahamic religions. Not the right one! But if you focus on Israel, and ignore the fact that you want to covert as many people as possible to what Disraeli called “completed Judaism,” you’re on good ground. You don’t really want to get into the Gospel. Here’s the part that follows the quoted bit.

The Pharisees challenged him, “Here you are, appearing as your own witness; your testimony is not valid.”
Jesus answered, “Even if I testify on my own behalf, my testimony is valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going. But you have no idea where I come from or where I am going. You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one. But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me. In your own Law it is written that the testimony of two witnesses is true. I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”
Right. No. Don’t remind Jews of this. Meanwhile: video platform video management video solutions video player
