The Ron and Rand Paul Show

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The congressman and semi-frontrunner, touring the state with his son, was mobbed at an event in Des Moines earlier today. Hey, anyone can do that, and plenty of media is there to see it. I’ve followed Paul to Cedar Rapids, around 2 hours east, and the crowd is just as large, packed into one of the prettier airport hotels I’ve seen.
I’d put the crowd at 200 at least, in an area that Paul didn’t do particularly well in four years ago. There are out-of-staters, but to a man, they seem to be campaign volunteers who will work for Paul again in their home states.
