How much is $350,000 worth in Iowa? In 2008, Mike Huckabee won the caucuses while being outspent 20-1 by Mitt Romney. Romney spent $15 million. On his own, Santorum wasn't going to spend nearly this much in Iowa. He raised $1.3 million, nationally, through September.
