While we’re on it, when people are running down the history of debate flubs, why compare Perry to Admiral James Stockdale? When Stockdale said “Who am I? Why am I here?” he was making a joke. It was the opening line of his introduction. Contrast that to Perry, who flubbed a plank of his campaign platform.
Also, I’m surprised by the tone on morning shows that Perry has distracted from Herman Cain’s problems. For how long? We’re not going to pay attention to a press conference put on by Cain’s accusers?
