Herman Cain tells us, from his Twitter account, that he’s received some temporal and divine inspiration for tonight. “RNC Chairman @ReincePriebus stopped by before the debate & shared Isaiah 54:17.”
This is Isaiah 54:17:
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Is this more reasonable if Cain is thinking about Sharon Bialek et al, or if he’s thinking about reporters who ask annoying questions? Perhaps there’s no great answer.
