Behold My Tea Party Literature

Below: A page from a Tea Party coloring book I picked up in the morning. photo(23) Below, a novel that the author’s proud mother handed out at Denny’s during the FreedomWorks event.
photo(24) It’s been a little while since my last overwhelming conservative event. This is Tea Party-influenced, but less Ron Paul-flavored, more mainline Republican than Washington’s classic CPAC. I no longer see people bearing Glenn Beck books, and the items on sale included first editions of Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, and (good luck selling this) Tim Pawlenty. The grassroots literature looks like this: Some books for learners, some novels about how bad things can get.
