DES MOINES – My new story comes from a full day at the Iowa state fair, where every major Republican candidate not named Mitt Romney appeared and was overshadowed by 1) Sarah Palin’s drop-in and 2) rumors of Rick Perry, whom people don’t know a lot about, except for the idea that he’s a good conservative governor who created a bunch of jobs.
