Cut, Cap, and Balance Headed for Vote in the Senate

It can’t get 60 votes, much less the 67 votes needed to add some weight to the Balanced Budget Amendment, but the Cut, Cap, and Balance Act will probably get a vote in the Senate. In an interview with Chuck Todd today, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., predicted that the vote would come on Saturday. A senior GOP aide in the Senate confirms that, and says that Saturday’s the latest likely date for a vote.

So: Kabuki continues! Just as “Obamacare repeal” and the Ryan budget got brief euthanizations in the Senate, so will CCB.
