Newt Gingrich Thinks Different

O. Kay Henderson reports on Gingrich’s heretical debt limit views.

Gingrich is asked by a person in the crowd if it’s true the US would default if the debt ceiling isn’t raised. Yes, Gingrich said, quoting the founding fathers and their “anti-inflation” views.  “It would really be a violation of the constitution,” Gingrich said.

This in the same meeting at which he said he’d “work with” the FAMiLY Leader to make their marriage pledge less embarassing, and thus more acceptable for someone like Newt Gingrich to sign.
