Mike Lee: “Secretary Geithner is Wrong”

I asked Mike Lee about the “constitutional option” that would take the debt limit away from Congress; Lee’s office decided to put the exchange on YouTube. So here it is. Lee’s argument is basically that “it’s Article I, Section 8, Clause 2, that gives Congress the power to incur debt in the United States,” which makes talk about the language of the 14th Amendment moot.
