Bloomberg has three sources saying the Treasury Secretary is “considering leaving the administration after President Barack Obama reaches an agreement with Congress to raise the national debt limit.” Time now to think of the possible replacements. Go on, have fun – it’s not like anyone will break a filibuster, anyway.

Nobel prize-winning economist Peter Diamond – Maybe he was just overqualified for the Fed, and Richard Shelby did him a favor.

Jon Huntsman – We know he gets along very well with the president. And he speaks Mandarin!
